This adapter has two female ends. It connects directly to the male end of fittings compatible with the flexible black xTool hose. For example, it will fit directly onto the back of machines like the F1/F2 Ultra, P3, or onto the ports found on the xTool AP2 / IF2. Since it has two female ends it essentially takes the place of a regular black xTool hose.
It is a friction fit but you can also use hose clamps for extra grip.

Perhaps you have multiple xTool fume extraction components and don't need a full length hose between them. You can use the pipe union to connect them and save yourself the space and the cost of buying an entire hose length.
For example, in the listing pictures you can see the xTool IF2 connected directly to the hose splitter. Normally you would need a hose to go between the two but if you do not need the length you can use the pipe union.
