Location & Shipping
We are located in Toronto, Canada and all of our products with the exception of the custom 3D printer PEI flex plates ship from here. You can find more information about shipping in our shipping policy.
Almost all of our products are entirely made in Canada. Some products combine parts such as pieces of hardware from other regions such as the United States, and China. Very few products are solely Chinese origin.
On the product pages there is a tab you can click on to view the country of origin. With the ever changing requirements for tariff and import costs this may be useful for you to make an informed purchase decision.
We are a small business and shipping times can vary. In most cases we aim to and are able to get orders out within 2 business days. However, depending on product availability and other challenges it can take up to 5 business days.
The actual transit time may depend on your location and the mail service you select on checkout.
No. Every country handles import fees, tariffs, duties and taxes differently. We cannot mark down the values of your items on customs declarations, invoices, etc. There are penalties and fines for participating in these practices.
You are responsible for knowing your own country's taxation practices for importing goods. Each product has a country of origin tab on the product page which will help you determine the potential taxes levied upon import.

Please note that in most cases the products have videos right on the product page that explains everything from assembly, proper use, settings, etc. This is the whole purpose of these videos.
We receive a lot of questions and it may take a few days to return your emails depending on the complexity of the question.
Also note that we are not officially affiliated with any of the brands we make products for. Therefore, if you have technical questions related to the machines and not the Embrace Making products we may be able to help a little but we are not affiliated with these brands. We try to help people the best we can but ultimately you are best to contact those brands for help with their machines.
In some limited cases we are able to send you the 3D files to print replacement parts. Sometimes accidents happen and customs break things and it is faster to print your own replacement than ship a new one.
However, we have had to take the stance to not send out complete 3D models of entire products. We try and be fair about distribution of files but we have had too many instances of people stealing the designs and trying to commercialize them for their own personal gain.
Without the ability to screen each person for their intentions we have had to cease sending out files in almost all cases. Unfortunately a few bad individuals ruin it for all of the good and honest people.
This business is our livelihood and it provides for our families. Ultimately we have to consider our designs our intellectual property that we have invested our time and money into.
