In the following video the EufyMake E1 mini flatbed fixture frame was introduced and several examples were presented.
You can find the EufyMake E1 Fixture Frame by clicking here.
The video covers the assembly of the mini flatbed fixture frame - if any future changes are made the revisions will be captured on this page and outlined.
The pace of the video is fast in the interest of keeping the videos from running too long.
The written procedure for using the fixture frame is as follows. Note there are two methods, one for the photo alignment and one for the zero point alignment.
With the photo alignment method
- Place the fixture frame on the mini flat bed.
- Place fixtures and materials inside of the fixture frame. If you are not using all three slots, use the middle slot.
- Inside of EufyMake Studio take a photo using the photo alignment method.
- Import the digital template of the mini flatbed fixture frame that was included as a digital download when you purchased the mini flatbed fixture frame.
- Upon importing the template, DO NOT resize it. Carefully move and align the middle crosshairs in the template with the center most position of the materials in the background photo.
- Once the position is finalized, using the layers menu lock the fixture frame template in place.
- Import the digital template of the fixture you are using. For example, if you purchased the Christmas ornament fixture there will have been a digital template included as a download similar to the template included with the fixture frame.
- Align this fixture template with the center slot of the fixture frame template.
- If you are using the left and right slots, copy and paste this fixture template and place it to the left and right side.
- Note: Due to camera perspective it is not uncommon for the image in the background to appear slightly misaligned with the position of the left and right hand side fixture templates. This is why this system is useful. It eliminates the guesswork when working around camera distortion.
- Once those positions are finalized, use the layers menu to lock the templates in place.
- Import the graphics you wish to print and align then with the areas of the fixture template designated as the work materials.
- You can right click on the graphics or the templates and use the layer tools to move the objects to the front or back to make alignment easier to see.
- When you have established your graphic positions and sizes, use the layers menu to hide the fixture and fixture frame templates so they do not get processed in the actual printing.
With the zero point alignment method
- Open EufyMake Studio software and ensure you are in the mini flatbed mode, then select the 'zero point alignment method'
- Follow the on screen prompts to calibrate the alignment if necessary.
- Once the alignment has been established, install the EufyMake mini flatbed fixture frame onto the mini flatbed. Ideally your EufyMake adhesive mat sticker should have been very accurately placed such that when the fixture frame is placed on top, the furthest most dashed on the left and right hand side of the sticker are lining up with the far left and far right inside edges of the fixture frame.
- Import the digital template of the mini flatbed fixture frame that was included as a digital download when you purchased the mini flatbed fixture frame.
- Upon importing the template, DO NOT resize it. Using the alignment tools inside of EufyMake Studio, select the template and center it horizontally and vertically.
- Once the position is finalized, using the layers menu lock the fixture frame template in place.
